Control Units

The control unit with installed Wenglor software permits easy initial start-up of 2D/3D Profile Sensors, as well as convenient project planning and data evaluation. Different software variants are available depending on the application: configurable uniVision software can be used to implement solutions for measuring profiles or for tracking relevant characteristics. Application-optimized software is available as well for profile monitoring and for volumetric measurements. Customer-specific software solutions can be developed if required. In order to assure high levels of compatibility, the Wenglor control unit is equipped with a variety of interfaces. The wear-free cooling system dissipates heat from the processor to the ambient air via cooling fins. In this way, no dust or contamination can penetrate the housing’s interior.
