Easy cleaning of machines and systems is crucial in the food industry. However, the carriages of many linear guides are difficult to disassemble. To reduce downtime, igus has developed a new drylin W linear guide with a polymer carriage that can be removed for cleaning without tools. The system is the first linear guide in the world to receive EHEDG certification, giving it official approval for food technology.

igus continues to drive forward the vision of sustainable urban mobility. At the Eurobike trade show, the company is presenting an electric version of its igus:bike for the first time, responding to the growing demand for low-maintenance e-mobility in cities. ILME’s 21.21 enclosure series has been continuously expanding to meet this need — reducing footprint and volume while offering increasingly flexible wiring options.

The new bulkhead-surface mounting enclosures with M25 cable entry are the latest addition: for the first time, they bring surface-mounting capability with vertical configuration to the 21.21 version, eliminating the need to step up to a larger housing size.
