Compact Ultrasonic Sensors with 3 Meter Range

With the U1KM ultrasonic sensors in miniature design, wenglor is expanding its portfolio with a powerful solution for applications that require long ranges in the smallest installation space. The compact sensors enable reliable object detection of up to three meters and are therefore suitable for a wide range of tasks in logistics, packaging or mechanical engineering. Up to five objects can be detected at the same time, allowing even complex applications to be precisely monitored. Multiplex and synchronous operation are available for the flexible use of several sensors. This prevents mutual influences and ensures stable measurement results. The innovative MEMS transducer also ensures high EMC stability and reliable performance. Since the sensors work completely silently for the human ear, they are particularly suitable for use at assembly workstations and in areas where a quiet working environment is required. With the U1KM series, wenglor combines compact format, high range and intelligent diagnosis functions in a future-proof ultrasonic solution for modern automation applications.
