Specialists in harsh and demanding industrial environments: Type 2K Wenglor photoelectronic sensors are the latest additions to the PNG//smart product series from Treotham. Thanks to their robust stainless steel 316L housing with IP69K protection, they can withstand intensive high-pressure cleaning up to 100 bar at temperatures up to 80 °C, aggressive cleaning agents, coolants and lubricants, as well as mechanical influences and corrosion.

If there is one area where applications are becoming ever-more complex, it’s safety engineering. EUCHNER has not only kept up with this trend with its Multifunctional Gate Box (MGB) safety door system, but has gone a step further by employing modular design to make the MGB2 Modular fully customisable for maximum optimisation. The modular system features a separate locking module, bus module and submodules, making it suitable for implementing a wide range of additional functions.

It is light, compact, and made entirely of plastic: the new PRM (Polymer Rotation Module) rotary igus energy supply system from Treotham. Treotham’s range of Wenglor inductive sensors with increased switching distances features enhanced performance in miniature design: A total of eight new sensors from the I03 and I04 series in the compact D3 and M4 housing for detecting metallic objects in confined systems. Practically no larger than a pin head, the robust sensors in V2A stainless steel housing demonstrate their strengths exactly where space is most limited.

Articulated arm robots can travel over six metres, quadrupling their working space: the 7th axis is now compatible with all lightweight articulated arm robots worldwide thanks to a simple Plug & Play kit. So far, models from Universal Robots, Epson and the igus robolink series from Treotham have benefited from this increased mobility. The Wenglor INTT Inductive Sensors for Extreme Temperature ranges from Treotham detect metallic objects contactlessly at ambient temperatures of up to 250 °C. The new INTT series has two new features that make it even more flexible and robust. For dynamic applications in hot areas, system builders can now choose from flexible cables and simple push/pull connectors. The plug-in sensor heads are therefore easy to replace. The analysis module is also located directly in the M12 sensor plug. This innovative feature offers great added value for users who design or operate drying ovens for paint or surface coatings, for example.
