High Temperature Cables

High temperature cables are essential in high temperature applications where cabling is required. Our own brand of high temperature wires - Treoflex are manufactured in Australia to the highest Australian and international standards. Below we list the features of our Treoflex single and multicore high temp cables and how to order Treoflex high temperature electrical wires for delivery anywhere in New Zealand.

Treoflex High Temperature Electrical Cables

Our Treoflex high temperature wires are suitable for temperatures ranging from -190°C to +1565°C and are also halogen free. Here are the features of each of the high temp cables in our range:

Treoflex SiHF High Temperature Electrical Cable

Silcone multi core cable with a stranded conductor of tinned copper wire and a core insulation made of silicon rubber.

Suitable where PVC-insulated cables become brittle due to high temperature variations. Treoflex SiHF high temperature cable applications include metallurgical industry, steel works, hot-rolling mills, coking plants, foundries etc.

  • 300/500 rated voltage
  • -60°C to +180°C (fixed or moving)
  • Minimum bend radius of 5 x d (fixed and 10 x d (moving)
  • Resistant to vegetable and animal fat, many types of oil and diluted acids.
  • No decomposition occurs when exposed to alcohol, alkaline dilutions etc.
  • Oxygen and ozone resistant insulation
  • Insulation silicone dioxide layer that remains on the conductor to render it short circuit proof in the event of a fire

Treoflex SiHF-C-Si High Temperature Electrical Cable

Silicon multicore cable with a stranded conductor of tinned copper wire and a core insulation made of silicon rubber.

The Treoflex SiHF-C-Si high temperature cable is suitable for applications where a cable insulation is subjected to high temperature fluctuations. Applications include use in projectors, high-power lighting fixtures and all types of heating equipment.

  • 300/500 rated voltage
  • -60°C to +180°C (fixed or moving) - Heat-resistant for continuous use at temperatures up to +180°C as well as for short periods of time at +220°C
  • Minimum bend radius of 5 x d (fixed and 10 x d (moving)
  • Excellent weathering resistance
  • Electromagnetic compatible
